Ladbrokes are offering customers the chance to play online poker against actor Nick Moran.
Moran, who played card sharp Eddy in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, is the new face of Ladbrokes poker and will be taking on all-comers in The Short List Freeroll from 8:00pm on Thursday. Anyone is welcome from novices to experts for what will be the first in a series of online tournaments. The overall winner will receive a Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival package with second to fifth places gaining a Ladbrokes Poker chip set.
Moran has also teamed up with professional player Jon ‘skalie’ Kalmar for a series of poker tutorials aimed at players of all abilities. The weekly Ladbrokes Poker School aims to help players develop their game in a fun and safe environment and features online videos, articles and podcasts on all aspects of poker from getting started to advanced strategy and bankroll management. |
