Video Special: James Mitchell

20/11/2009

James Mitchell learned his trade at public school, adopting a heavily aggressive game that saw him all the way to a GUKPT final table before he’d even reached university.

He’s already had some very creditable results, not least his 2nd place finish in the World Heads-Up Championships recently, but you can expect to see him build on this. He could well become one of the players of the year in 2010.

Here he chats about his favourite cardrooms, adapting his strategy to heads-up, and what it’s like being an up ‘n’ coming young British pro.
